On the occasion of a holiday on May 28, 2010, my family and I went to Bromo. Wishful thinking to go to Bromo has become a reality. Depart from Yogyakarta on May 27, 2010 night. Previously I had been told a friend that it is better to book hotel first before arriving at Bromo. With the help of Uncle Google, I got some phone numbers for hotels in Bromo, indeed, the hotel is full to the date of May 28 because that day was the Vesak holiday. I am not discouraged and continued to do a search via Google, finally can be one of the hotels are now living five empty rooms. Our
booked three rooms with the first transfer of money as a sign so.
The main purpose of the tour to Bromo is to see the sunrise with a background in the Mount Bromo Penanjakan and see the crater of Mount Bromo. To see the sunrise at Mount Penanjakan, we have to get up early in the morning at around 3:00. In fact, we've hired a Hardtop vehicle that will be provided by the hotel, but somehow the hotel had broken a promise with the reason we have not paid. This far-fetched reason Ngada, because we are not told in advance by the hotel must pay in advance.
What might make, though it is not got Hardtop, we are still left and hope to get a Hardtop. With a private vehicle, we exited the hotel to Cemoro Lawang where many Hardtop waiting to leave for the Penanjakan. Once a bustling atmosphere, the time points at 4:00. Finally we got Hardtop with a super expensive rental costs Rp. 650 000! The price was far from the normal price of Rp 300,000 - Rp 350,000. Because we had finally agreed to hire Hardtop with a price. Once satisfied to see the sights in Penanjakan, using Hardtop we went down to get to the crater of Mount Bromo, the caldera is situated on a bed of sand. We stopped briefly at one side of the road between Point View Penanjakan and the crater of Mount Bromo to see the view from the north side.
There is a parking lot and a lot hartop. Suanana quite crowded in the parking lot. From here we headed to the crater of Mount Bromo by using a rented horse with a price of Rp 50 000 - Rp 100 000 round trip.
